Relivit Holdings Ltd is raising capital as part of its journey to open the first recycling plant for absorbent hygiene waste (nappies and pads) in Sydney in 2014.
– Reducing carbon emissions from the disposal of Absorbent Hygiene Waste (AHW)
– Waste supply is being secured under contract
– Exclusive licence for Australia & New Zealand
– Large-scale, commercialised technology for recycling AHW
– Multiple revenue streams
– Strong, experienced team
Australian government policies are increasing recycling rates. Limited landfill space and rising costs due to landfill levies and the carbon tax combine to encourage waste generators to seek alternatives. One sizeable, but unaddressed waste stream is Absorbent Hygiene Waste (AHW) – disposable nappies, adult continence aids and sanitary waste. Relivit has an exclusive licence for the only large-scale commercialised technology that recycles AHW. Revenues are waste disposal fees and the sale of recovered materials.
Relivit plans to open its first recycling plant in 2014, to service the Sydney region, which is the largest generator of AHW in Australia. Additional plants are planned for Australia’s other major cities, before entering the Asian market.
Relivit is using the pathway of the Australian Small Scale Offerings Board (ASSOB), assisted by Corporate Outcomes Group, to facilitate their capital raising.
